Leonel reaches Libya for African Summit
He will take part in celebration of 40th anniversary of Gaddafi's Libyan Revolution

TRIPOLI. President Leonel Fernandez arrived last night in Tripoli's Mitiga Airport, where he was received by the Minister of Agriculture, Abu Baker Al-Mabrouk, by Mohamed Matri and Matolh Aborawi, directors of the Libyan Committee of the Department of the Americas and Latin America, respectively.
The Dominican leader arrived at the Libyan capital at 7:45 p.m., local time, in order to take part in the special session of the African Union Summit.
Fernandez is a special invitee to the celebration marking the 40th anniversary of the Libyan Revolution, and it is expected that the presidents of Qatar, Venezuela, Bolivia, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Phillipines, Servia, Congo, Pakistan, Jamaica, Barbados, Saint Lucia, Singapore and other nations will be there.
The Chief of State arrived accompanied by Chancellor Carlos Morales Troncoso, Ambassador Miguel Mejia, Eddy Martinez, the CEI director and others.
