Police recover Breton's SUV in Bonao
They are confident they will solve the case soon. Search on for person identified by cell phones left at the scene
SANTO DOMINGO. The National Police is confident that they will son resolve the murder of television producer Juan Miguel Breton Mieses (Miky).
Two cell phones left at the crime scene where Breton's body was found have been used to identify the man that is sought in connection with the crime.
Diario Libre has learned that the National Police carried out a series of searches in the province of San Cristobal where the suspect is thought to be.
Yesterday at noon they found the black KIA Sportage that belonged to Breton in Bonao. It was thought that the person that committed the crime used the vehicle to escape. Diario Libre has learned that the individual that is being sought could have left the vehicle in that town in order to throw off the Police.
Yesterday two individuals were detained for investigation. Together with the evidence collected at the scene of the crime, these two have allowed the Police to say that their work is "well advanced".
Nelson Rosario, the spokesperson for the National Police, reported that there exists "a broad series of rumors and possibilities that are being discarded one by one as the investigation proceeds".
SUV in Bonao
The Kia Sportage SUV, a black, 2009 model, license place G-203287, was left abandoned in a parking lot on 16 of August Street at the corner of 12 of July Street.
Major Dirochet, of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (AMET), said that the vehicle was abandoned on Sunday with the keys inside.
Meanwhile, the personal identification documents of the victim, as well as scripts of his vignettes were found is some bushes near the community of El Abanico in the city of Constanza.
The scientific police recovered the evidence in the place where the vehicle was left in order to carry out the necessary investigations.

Last Sunday, near 8:00 p.m. the body of television producer and director Miky Breton was discovered in Room 3 of the Princesa Motel on the 30 de Mayo Highway.
The nude body, with 12 knife wounds, was discovered by Candido Rodriguez Villa, an employee of the motel.
Yesterday morning, the cameraman Ramon Abreu, known as La Brocha ("the Brush"), and who worked with Breton, was detained for investigation, but was released a few hours later.
Some two months ago, Miky Breton had been the victim of a beating by persons unknown, who later stole his SUV.
